Zoey Erixon, LISW, CADC
Feeling connected to your inner self is a true gift. Therapy can help uncover what may be standing in the way of authentic connection—both with yourself and others. Whether you’ve experienced trauma, loss, unexpected changes, or are feeling weighed down by sadness or anxiety, support is available to you. In my practice, you are seen as the expert on your own life, and the role of therapy is to offer empathetic guidance as you move toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor in the state of Iowa. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing from evidence-based therapies such as psychodynamic, attachment-focused, relational/cultural, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), motivational interviewing, and feminist therapies. All clients 15+ are welcome.
I prioritize Health at Every Size (HAES) principles and provide gender affirming care. I believe that the heart of therapy lies in creating a trusting relationship between client and therapist. I honor the therapeutic alliance and process, and I hope to offer a meaningful and transformative experience in our work together.
